I’ve spent over five hundred thousand dollars running & testing marketing campaigns for myself and my clients.
From that testing, we learned 5 tactics that make a HUGE difference in growing a local clinic fast. (The tactics can be implemented within 45 days)
Some of these tactics might seem simple (you heard of some of them before), but gaining an edge in business (or life) is the sum of all these 1%, 2%, and 5% gains.
1- Make sure your website loads Fast
Think of the last time a video, website, or image loaded slow.
You hit the “back” button in your web browser and left.
Same thing with your website.
If it loads slow, people will click back and go somewhere else.
Imagine you’re a new patient looking for chiropractic care.
You decide to check out the first 3 websites in Google.
You click on the 1st website (your clinic’s) and it loads slow.
You immediately go to the next one. (You just lost a new patient)
Here’s how to check if your site loads slow.
Go to a site called Gtmetrix.com it will tell you how fast (or slow) your site is, and how to improve the speed.
2- Your website NEEDS to be mobile-friendly
Over half the Google searches come from mobile phones.
Everyone is on their smartphone (even while driving).
So if your website hasn’t been updated since 2002, you need to make sure it’s mobile-friendly.
AKA Your website is easy to navigate, read and interact with from a smartphone.
Can I easily find the phone number? Can I tap it and it dials right away?
Can I easily fill out the appointment form from my smartphone?
3- Use Google Ads To Attract More Local Patients
Running Google ads ensures your practice is at the top of Google for searches like “chiropractors near me”.
Being at the top means you get most of the clicks, AKA most of the calls/appointments.
You can get started for as little as $35/day.
I’ve seen a clinic generate 20 new patients a month with that budget.

4- Make it easy for people to contact you and/or book an appointment
If you have an online booking form, make sure it has as few steps as possible.
People don’t want to go through 7 pages/clicks when 3 would work.
It’s common knowledge that the more unnecessary steps you have, the more people drop off.
Make sure the online scheduling platform you use is fast and mobile-friendly.
One clinic owner I help uses Setmore.com for his online scheduling.
5- Increase social proof
Pretend you’re a new prospect and you’re debating which chiropractor you want to go with.
Are you gonna call the one with 3 reviews first? Or the one with 47 positive reviews?
When your (satisfied) patient is leaving the clinic, ask them for a review.
Ask them to pull out their smartphone and leave you honest feedback about their experience.
The review can be on Google or Facebook.
You can also set up your patient system to automatically send an email, thanking them for visiting, and asking for a review.
The key here is to consistently ask for testimonials, in person and/or via email.
Don’t do it for a month and stop.
Just like treatment, consistency is what gets results.
